SMC Speaker Series
The St. Mary of Carmel Catholic School Speaker Series is an annual gathering that brings nationally recognized Catholic leaders, thinkers, and storytellers to our community. Rooted in our mission to form students in faith and excellence, this event celebrates learning, fellowship, and the shared values that unite us. Each year’s presentation not only enriches our hearts and minds—it also raises vital funds that directly support our students, teachers, and programs.
Trivia Night
St. Mary of Carmel's Annual Trivia Night is a community fundraising event where teams of up to 8 compete in rounds of trivia for food, fun, and bragging rights as reigning Trivia Champion. Held each year, it helps fund the school's mission of providing accessible, quality Catholic education, and includes the presentation of the Saints and Scholars Award honoring individuals who've made a lasting impact on the SMC community.
Teacher Lala Library
The Teacher Lala Library is a fundraising campaign to revitalize SMC's school library, which is named for a beloved longtime teacher and alumna and holds special significance as the site of the original church. The campaign supports expanding the book collection through Perma-Bound and adding book displays, so students can rediscover a love of reading and research.
