Katie Prejean McGrady is a wife, mom, award-winning author, international speaker, and host on SiriusXM’s The Catholic Channel. A graduate of the University of Dallas, she spent years working in youth ministry and Catholic education before beginning full-time speaking in 2017, inspiring audiences across the country at parishes, conferences, schools, retreats, and fundraising events.

She is the author of six books with Ave Maria Press and hosts the Ave Explores podcast, diving into real and relevant topics of faith. Katie also co-hosts Family Mass Prep on the Hallow app with her husband, Tommy, and Like a Mother, an OSV podcast about the joys and challenges of motherhood.

Most recently, Katie helped facilitate a joyful dialogue with Pope Leo at the National Catholic Youth Conference, a moment that beautifully reflected her passion for guiding young people in faith.

A regular writer for Blessed is She, Our Sunday Visitor, and Aleteia, Katie also serves as a Vatican analyst for CNN and has consulted for the USCCB on youth and young adult ministry. She lives in Lake Charles, Louisiana, with her husband and their two daughters, Rose and Clare.
