SCHOOL BOARD

Love, Strive, Serve, Forgive, and Learn.

Patty Salazar
School Board Chair

Patty Salazar-Martel, St. Mary of Carmel alum Class of 1996. From St. Mary of Carmel, I continued my Catholic education at Bishop Dunne High School, graduating in 2000 and completing my college degree at The University of North Texas in Denton.

St. Mary of Carmel has set the foundation not only for me but also for my siblings. My parents worked very hard to provide a Catholic education for all seven of their children. Our family is from West Dallas, La Bajada, Trinity Groves area, down the street from St. Mary of Carmel.

I’m excited to be part of the St. Mary of Carmel board. I’m excited to help serve the mission of the school, its current student body, and the community that not only set my foundation but is home to me. I’m proud to be still a part of St. Mary of Carmel’s community and help continue its success.
