Academic Objectives Based on School Goals

To integrate Catholic values into the daily lives of students

• Teach the religion curriculum objectives
• Provide opportunities for spiritual formation through liturgy, prayer, sacraments
• Seasonal liturgical observances: Rosary devotions, Our Lady of Guadelupe, Stations of the Cross, May Crowning
• Provide opportunities for service and the promotion of social justice: projects to raise awareness and money for hurricane victims, Catholic Charities, AIDS victims

To provide high quality education by providing a variety of learning experiences, maintaining high expectations, recognizing individual differences and celebrating achievements

• Hire staff members who are well qualified, positive, and affirming

To form a community of students, teachers, and parents who work together to provide a support network for students

• Provide counseling services and referrals as needed
• Form a Strategic Intervention Team to develop strategies for at-risk students
• Provide activities to complement the academic program such as speech tournaments, Scouting, Book Adventure, liturgy preparation, musical productions, art contests, academic fairs
• Organize multigenerational activities such as Fall Festival, Bingo, breakfast Sundays
• Provide a physical education program for all students that teaches skills, game rules, physical conditioning, and sportsmanship
• Provide opportunities for team sports: football, soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball
• Provide equpment and facilities
• Teach good nutrition along with physical activity for a healthy lifestyle

To develop in each student the principles of moral consciousness and good citizenship

• Provide instructional guidance programs such as "Connect with Kids"
• Develop positive relationships with neighborhood police through campus and classroom visits
• Foster patriotism through regular flag ceremonies, observance of flag etiquette, and music

To be good financial stewards and maximize resources

• Encourage conservation of resources and recycling
• Promote environmental friendliness and caring for natural resources
• Support fundraising efforts that strengthen the financial position of the school
